i originally saw the idea from the blog of guica.and considering how utterly boring my summer seems to be, I thought “hey, why not do the same thing?”

so can I just say that what I am about to write here is strictly out of my own boredom, and thus, may or may not be taken seriously by you who gets to read this.

and to those people who will be mentioned here, please lang, huwag tayong feeling at huwag tayong masyadong assuming na may something pa rin ako sainyo dahil wala na talaga.ha?

FORMER (and may I reiterate FORMER) CRUSHES:

1. NICO ANGELO SAMSON—the very first person I ever had a crush on. when?-hmm…I think that was roughly around third grade.( I know, I know…ang bata ko pa, lumalandi na…) why?-ang cute niya kasi and supperr puti pa!:) he was my seatmate when we were in third grade and I was very naaaliw to know that he was very smart and ang tahi-tahimik! as in!how it faded away?-simple lang, nalaman ko na may crush siya sa isang close friend ko.:)
2. JOEL ANDRE ENCISO—oh gosh, I hope he doesn’t get to read this lalo na that he’s my contact.when?-third grade also.right after I got over nico.:) why?-kasi naman sikat siya dahil new comer siya at laking states.:) ang cute kaya niya nung mga bata pa kami! Hehehe,adik!:phow it faded away?-i saw alvin redoblado!:)

ALVIN REDOBLADO—as my friends know, he’s the older brother of my very good friend ADRIENNE (who I hope doesn’t let her HOT kuya know that some whacko friend oh hers is writing publicly about him.:p) when?-third grade din.grade 6 siya nun. why?-hello???ang HOT kaya niya, probably one of the main reasons of global warming!hehehehe.how it faded?-for the record, crush ko pa rin siya hanggang ngayon.:p
4. RICARDO AMADOR—some of my childhood friends from elementary school probably don’t remember him, because he wasn’t that visible, pero he was a very good friend of mine.when?-6^th grade, seatmate ko siya.why?-here’s the back story: he also likes a very good friend of mine and dahil sa closeness naming nung friend ko yun, he wanted me to make palakas to my friend para he can make ligaw.at take note, laging may suhol na 100php yun every day ha?, which my friend and I would share so nung grade 6 ako, mayaman kaming dalawa ni friend lagi.and wala lang, natuwa ako kay Ricardo kasi ang bait kaya niya and parang bestfriends kami nun.how it faded?-nag first year high school kami at nalaman naming na siya ay nagmigrate na pala sa Canada.
5. LAWRENCE ADRIAN FARIÑAS—nyehehehe, eto na…bukingan na nga talaga to!:) when?-6^th grade.why?-aba, have you seen Lawrence na in person??i mean, SERIOUSLY.newcomer kasi siya nun, and very appealing siya.ask the entire 6^th grade female batch of 2002 and almost all of them would agree with me when I say that he is very goodlooking.how it faded?-well, masyadong siyang mayabang and mas malaki pa ulo niya sa ulo ko.:p
6. DON REVILLA—ay, naku, dito ako unang natamaan. when?-6^th grade din, seatmate ko siya nung third to fourth quarter.why?-crush niya din yung friend kong yun, and saakin siya magpapakwento about her.alam niyo ba na muntik na siyang maiyak isang beses dahil nalaman niya na mukhang wala siyang pagasa sa friend kong yun?:)) funny talaga!hindi man siya kasing galante ni Ricardo, aba, mayaman din tong hayop na to.hehehehe.:) super close din kami nito.tawag nga naming sa isa’t-isa ay bestfriend. Akalain mo nga naman??!! Magkasangga kami nito sa lahat nung grade 6 kami.super funny niya, super caring and super concerned lagi.hindi ka ba naman ma-fall sa ganyan??how it faded?-nagfirst year kami at napadpad siya sa ibang section.

BENNY…I forgot the last name!hehehe—but he was a batchmate of alvin, three batches ahead of me.when?-first year highschool.why?-ang hot kaya nito!varsity ng basketball team ng saa and he was a member of the dance troupe.and ang ganda ng eyes niya!swear.how it faded?-grumaduate siya ng highschool.i heard he’s very successful na ngayon, and he’s somewhere in the middle east right now, working.

DARIUS ALMOJUELA, JR.—oh, utang na loob—HUWAG LAGYAN ng MEANING.please lang. there’s a lot that I could say about darius (yeah, right…”a lot” is an understatement here, I tell you), but I’d rather keep it private.hehehe.when?-first year high school to first half of first year college, first sem.why?-let me make it simple—UGLY DUCKLING TURNING INTO A HOT SWAN.yeah, you get the point.how it faded?-nagcollege na kami at masaya na kami saaming mga buhay.hehehehe.but he and I are friends at feeling ko nman na he knows about it din na.haller???4 years ba naman diba?manhid na lang siya kung hindi noh??and I think (and I hope) that we’re still cool until now.

CARL JEFFREY TAN—first serious college crush.yeess.oh no.basta.when?-during a cloudy afternoon sa TAPSI, july 2006, first year first sem.why?-shet.i don’t know?attractive?dahil sa rowing team siya?hehehe.he was the one who gave me the flowers during my 18^th birthday, pero this is all thanks to the prodding and help of my friends celine, mafe, sheena and Karen.:p how it faded?-grumaduate siya ng college at nagging girlfriend niya si mel.:))
10. CARLO LORENZO CASTRONUEVO—obviously, ngayong college.:)) pero super short lived lang.dahil bali-balita na may reshuffling, aamin na ako.baka mgkataon na hindi na kami blockmates.:p why?smart kasi.pero hindi ko siya super crush.siguro attractive lang ang malaki ang ulo.kidding.

1 Battalion, 4 Platoons, 1 Fate...

In one statement, in one memorandum order, the fate of the 3rd battalion hangs in the balance. Shocking. Preposterous. Appaling. Dreadful. Frightening. In one spark, the fate of one formidable fighting force will be altered... Forever.

This statement released by the chain of command was the most shocking slash unacceptable slash most frightening news that reached the barracks last week. The letter that contained the statement was sealed in a large envelope marked with the letters, Confidential, nevertheless, the information leaked and reached the soldiers occupying the barracks before the scheduled announcement by the chain of command on May 28. It is equals panic to the highest level. Some fainted. Some revolted. Some mutineed. But everything is useless. Everything is controlled by the chain of command. Everything is out of our grasp.

Of the 4 platoons in the barracks, the most affected of the news is the Alpha platoon. The Alpha platoon started its legacy two years ago when drafted soldiers from different military installations were called to form and be the best platoon fort A.B. can offer. For two years the platoon were trained so hard that they started to fulfill their roles as the best soldiers of the state produced by Fort A.B. The platoon, during their training experienced hardship in every thing that bounded the members of the platoon from plain camaraderie to extraordinary brotherhood. Being heared this shocking news, it is hard for the platoon to accept their fate... their fate of separation. The platoon produced the best soldiers in Fort A.B., and cannot afford to lose their comrades, not because of battle, but because of a hasty desicion made by the chain of command.

That is INJUSTICE, my dear friends... and I cannot let that separation happen. I cannot let the platoon break up just because of one shallow desicion. I cannot even let the platoon that produced the best soldiers be separated from their comrades. I wont let that happen. I wont.

Capt. Mengster: Platoon leader, with encouragements uplifted the spirit of the team, with leadership brought victory to the team, with leadership made the team one.

1st Lieutenant "JJ": Quartermaster, entrusted with the belongings of the team. Keeps a watchful eye on logistics and keeps every move worth it.

Warrant Officer 1 Cookie and Warrant officer 2 Vanie: Platoon pontifex, never misses to share a handful of inspirational phrases and quotations that keeps the soldiers on the bright side of life.

Technical Sergeant Kerren: The cybernetics core of the platoon. Every technical problem, every protocol, every technical script never rises in the horizon when this cyber specialist is around.

Staff Sergeant Hamel: Platoon literaturist, armed with the pen and paper as the weapon, this lady is the most formidable entity in the platoon in artistic aspects. With great mind and effective use of words, every manuscript never failed to miss a spot in her journal.

Master Sergeant Paps: Platoon biographer, with one click of a camera, this soldier freezes history, for in every shot, history never fails to be compiled artistically in this soldier's hands.
